Qualifications For Prospective Owner/Operator Drivers


  • Must have own tractor, with all required tags and proof of satisfactory inspections. Cornerstone leases owner/operators only. We have no company drivers.
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • 3 years verifiable driving experience
  • 3-Year MVR with:
    • No DUI
    • No speed violation more than 15 mph over speed limit
  • Minimum Age 25. (As low as age 23 for exceptionally strong candidate.)
  • Must carry $500,000 bobtail insurance, showing Cornerstone as additional insured.
  • Comprehensive and collision insurance is the responsibility of the owner/operator.
